  • Nil Depreciation Cover

Depreciation affects the value of a vehicle over time. The insurer subtracts the cost of depreciation of the replaced parts from the sanctioned amount, this has an impact on the claim amount as well. With a nil depreciation cover, the responsibility of bearing the depreciation cost from the claim amount is transferred to the insurer.

  • EMI Protection

If the insured vehicle is at the insurer's approved network garage for more than 30 days for repairs, the company will cover up to three EMIs. The EMI gets paid directly to the insurer. This addon benefit is only applicable to partial damage claims.

  • Daily Allowance Benefit

This addon compensates for inconveniences due to the bike being under repairs as a result of an accident. You can only take advantage of this benefit if your bike has been in the garage (network garage) for over three days.The policyholder can avail this cover for up to 2 claims for a maximum allowance of Rs. 5,000 per day.

  • Helmet Cover

This addon covers the cost of replacing damaged or destroyed helmet of the same type or model, due to an incident involving the insured vehicle.The amount insured maximum for this add-on policy is Rs. 50,000 per helmet, and the premium starts at Rs. 100. During a policy year, the coverage only covers expenditures linked to one accident. Regular wear and tear of the helmet is not covered.

There's no such limit. You can buy as many addons as per your particular requirements.

  • Is it ok to not file a claim if the harm is minor?

It is preferable not to file a claim for minor repairs. As a result of not filing any claims throughout the policy period, you will receive a No Claim Bonus discount on your next year’s premium.

  • Can I transfer my No Claim bonus when changing my insurer?

Yes, you can transfer the benefits of your no-claim bonus when you switch your insurance policy from one insurer to another. However, this can be done only up to 90 days from the policy expiry date.

  • Is it possible to transfer NCB to new bike?

Yes. Once your old bike has been sold to a buyer, you can transfer the NCB benefit to a new vehicle.

  • When can I buy the Reliance bike insurance add-on coverage and include them in my plan?
