Step 4. On the Top Menu, Under the 'Driving License' Dropdown, Select the 'Services on DL' Option.
Step 5. Go through the Page Stating all the 'Instructions for Application Submission' and Click 'Continue.'
Step 6. On the 'Application for Services on Driving License' Page, Enter the DL Number with Your Date of Birth, Review the Details, Select the 'State' and the 'RTO' and then Click 'Proceed.'
Step 7. Verify the Registered Address and Click 'Confirm.'
Step 8. Mention Your Registered Mobile Number to Complete the e-KYC Authentication and Click 'Generate OTP.'
Step 9. Enter the OTP Received on Your Mobile and Click 'Authenticate with Sarathi'.
Step 10. Select 'Change of Name in DL' and Click 'Proceed.'
Step 11. On a New Page, Read Your Personal Details, Make Appropriate Changes and Click 'Confirm.'
Step 12. Tick the Declaration Box, Enter the Captcha Code and Click 'Proceed.'
Step 13. Upload the Documents, Photograph and the Signature.
Step 14. Pay the Fee and Complete the Online Process.
Visit Your Nearest RTO: Regional Transport Office.
Step 1. Get the In-person Approval from the Designated Officer.
Step 2. Submit All the Documents.
Step 3. Make the Payment and Collect the Receipt.
Step 4. Let the RTO Employee Take Your Photograph, Capture the Signature and the Fingerprints.
Step 5. Leave the RTO Premises.
Step 6. Receive the Updated DL on Your Registered Address.
It's advisable to arrange the following documents:
Your Current/Existing Driving License.
Proof of Identity & Address, Aadhaar Card, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Class 10th/12th Certificates, Birth Certificate, Ration Card or a Utility Bill.
