Difference Between a Learner's License(LL)and a Driving License (DL) -

There are two different types of driving licences available in India. The Learner's License and the Permanent License are these. People who wish to begin learning to drive or ride a vehicle are awarded a learner's licence, which has a six-month validity period. After a month has passed after the initial learner's licence was issued, an individual can only receive a permanent DL by completing written and practical exams. So, obtaining a learner's permit is required before applying for a driver's licence. The time between the two applications must be one month.

Things to keep in mind-

  • After filling out the form, make sure to review it for any mistakes or omissions.
  • When you go for your driving test, make sure you bring the original documentation with you.
  • Do not forget that a learner's permit is only good for six months.
  • Avoid including false documents with your application because you risk facing legal consequences.
  • When applying for a driving licence, don't forget to include a copy of your learner's licence.
  • Never ride or drive (including during practise) without having a current licence or other identification on you at all times.
  • Don't ride or drive if you have a learner's permit without a permanent licence holder present. If you are detected driving or riding alone, your application for a driving licence may be rejected.
