  • A claim form will be forwarded to you by mail, email or fax

  • Complete the claim form relevant to the nature of loss.

  • Kindly mail scanned images of your claim documents on , with cc to or fax on +91-120-6691600 within 30 days from date of loss.

  • Why do I need Travel Insurance?

    Travelling abroad on a holiday or business trip, to relax amidst the scenic mountains or beaches, single or along with your family, you need travel insurance for complete peace of mind. It is required to safeguard you from the risk of any financial emergency arising due to illness, accident, injury or any unforeseen event. There can be incidents related to loss of tickets, baggage, documents, trip cancellation, flight delays, etc. When you are travelling away from home, you need to ensure that you are safe and protected to handle any kind of unfortunate events and financial risk.

  • How do I benefit with Travel insurance?

    Overseas Travel insurance would protect you during the times of problems and stress when you are travelling in a foreign land. If there is cancellation of trip, interruption or delay due to illness, injury or bad weather or due to loss of baggage, passport, traveler’s cheques, traveling tickets, etc., there would be financial reimbursement offered to cover your financial risk. Medical expenses towards treatment in a local hospital would be provided. Financial emergency assistance would also be provided in case of loss of funds due to theft or any such event. Back home, your house and contents would be protected with a home insurance coverage against fire, allied perils and burglary.

  • What is a deductible?

    Deductible implies for any claim the deductible amount has to be borne by the insured. The deductible is applicable for medical expenses, dental treatment, loss of passport or documents, delayed checked baggage, hijack distress allowance, etc.

  • How would loss of passport, documents and tickets be compensated?

    Insurer would pay actual expenses incurred to obtain a duplicate or fresh passport or obtain the stolen documents or baggage belonging to the insured.

  • What happens in case of delay in receiving checked in baggage?

    Travel Insurance compensates for loss and delay of checked in baggage.

  • Does policy cover pre-existing diseases?

    This policy does not cover pre-existing diseases. A ‘Pre-Existing Illness is one with which the person is already suffering from before he buys the policy

  • Is emergency financial assistance provided?

    'Financial Emergency' means a situation wherein the Insured loses all or a Substantial amount of his/her travel funds due to theft, robbery, mugging or dacoity. under this benefit the insured is provided with Emergency Cash Assistance up-to the limit stated in the Policy. This is an assistance provided by the company through the service provider.

  • What is benefit under Hijack distress allowance?

    If the Common Carrier in which the insured Person is aboard is hijacked, the company agrees to pay to the compensation for every six (6) continuous hours in excess of the Deductible.

  • What does Medical Repatriation and Evacuation Cover?

    Emergency Medical Evacuation means arrangement for transportation required to move an insured to the nearest hospital and Medical Repatriation means arrangement for transportation required to move an insured to his/her country of residence following an emergency.
