In-Patient Treatment

Covers the expenses of hospitalization relevant to any chronic disease. Free of cost examination for pre-detected therapies. Cashless facility for the after discharge medication from 10 to 30 days. Post discharge complications coverage benefit.

Follow Up services

Coverage includes consultation, investigations, and medications up to 1 year after the treatment.

Outpatient Treatment

Under the EJHS scheme, treatments for severe diseases are provided at particular hospitals. It helps to deliver the necessary care to the patient. 

Hospital Stay

Coverage for accommodation in hospital on the basis of pay grades like for Slab A (Pay grades I to IV), Slab B(Pay grades V to XVII semi private wards), for Slab C (Pay grades XVIII to XXXII private wards.

Financial Coverage

Telangana State Government will provide the fund. No upper limit. No contribution from employees or pensioners.

EHJS Documents Required

  • Copy of Aadhar Card
  • Scanned copies of 1 and 2 of the old service register.
  • Recent color passport size photograph.

  • Scanned copy of Pension Payment Order (PPO)
  • Scanned copy of Pensioner’s identity card.
  • Recent color passport size photograph.

  • Passport sized 45mm x 35mm photograph up to 200KB.
  • Copy of each dependent’s Aadhaar card.

EHJS Application Process

  • Applying for EHJS is easy online through the official website of EHJS Telangana. There is no specific process to apply for the scheme.
  • The Drawing and Disturbing Officer (DDO) inspects the application and sends employees data to the finance department.
  • Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) shares the employee's details with Aarogyasri Health Care Trust. Then, all the data gets used to generate health cards.
